KCK schools schedule meet-and-greet sessions with superintendent finalists Wednesday and Thursday

The Kansas City, Kansas, Public Schools have scheduled meet-and-greet sessions with superintendent candidate finalists on Wednesday, June 20, and Thursday, June 21.

The sessions are scheduled from 5 to 6 p.m. June 20 and 21 in the board room at the Central Office and Training Center, 2010 N. 59th St., Kansas City, Kansas.

The public may meet the first finalist on Wednesday and the second on Thursday. The public will have the opportunity to meet the superintendent candidates, submit written questions to the finalists, and to leave written comments for the school board about the superintendent candidates. The school board is not scheduled to be at the meet-and-greet sessions.

The school board is scheduled to interview the finalists in closed, executive sessions at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, June 20, and Thursday, June 21.

KCK student completes degree requirements at Cloud County

Daniel Herrejon of Kansas City, Kansas, has completed the requirements for the Associate of Arts degree from Cloud County Community College.

Cloud County Community College offers a wide variety of courses leading toward completion of transfer and career degrees in four areas: Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, Associate of Applied Science and Associate of General Studies.

Cloud County Community College (CCCC) is one of 26 public two-year community and technical colleges in Kansas and is coordinated by the Kansas Board of Regents. CCCC’s service area encompasses a 12-county area primarily in north central Kansas with its two physical campuses in Concordia, Kansas, and Junction City, Kansas.
