Forecast: Clear spring weather ahead today

Spring weather is in the forecast today, according to the National Weather Service. The day started with rain that has now moved east of the Kansas City area.

While there is some rain in the forecast for the coming week, no hazardous weather is expected in the next seven days, the weather service said.

Today’s forecast is partly sunny with a high near 67, and a north wind 9 to 13 mph, the weather service said.

Tonight, expect partly cloudy skies, with a low of 44, and a north northeast wind of 5 to 8 mph, according to the weather service.

Tuesday, skies will be mostly sunny, with a high near 66, and an east wind of 5 to 11 mph, the weather service said.

Tuesday night, there is a 30 percent chance of precipitation, with a low of 48, according to the weather service.

Wednesday, there is a 40 percent chance of showers, with a high near 64. Wednesday night’s low will be around 50, the weather service said.

Thursday, the weather will be mostly cloudy with a high near 71. There will be a 30 percent chance of showers, according to the weather service. Thursday night, the low will be 54, with a 30 percent chance of precipitation.

Friday, expect a 40 percent chance of showers and a high of 70. Friday night’s low will be around 51, the weather service said.

Saturday, there is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms with a high near 69, according to the weather service. Saturday night, the chance of rain will be 40 percent, with a low of 52, the weather service said.
