Today’s forecast from the National Weather Service is mostly sunny, with a high near 68, as fall temperatures continue for the rest of the week.

No hazardous weather is in the forecast. There is a slight chance of rain as a new cold front comes into the area on Friday, but the potential for heavy rain has decreased, the weather service said.

With temperatures in the 60s and humidity declining, it will be fall weather this week. Temperatures will rise slightly through the end of the week, and by Sunday, the expected high is 78 to 80.

Tonight, it will be mostly clear with a low of 48 and a light and variable wind, according to the weather service.

Thursday, it will be sunny with a high near 73 and a light south southwest wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the morning, the weather service said.

Thursday night, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 53 and a south southwest wind of 6 mph becoming north northwest after midnight, according to the weather service.

Friday, it will be partly sunny with a high near 67 and a north northeast wind of 5 to 9 mph, the weather service said.

Friday night, there is a 20 percent chance of showers after 1 a.m., with a low of 49, according to the weather service.

Saturday, it will be partly sunny with a high near 66, the weather service said.

Saturday night, the low will be around 58 with mostly cloudy skies, according to the weather service.

Sunday, the high will be near 78 with mostly sunny skies, the weather service said.

Sunday night, the low will be around 65 with partly cloudy skies, according to the weather service.

Monday, it will be mostly sunny with a high near 82, the weather service said.

Monday night, the low will be around 65 with partly cloudy skies, according to the weather service.

Tuesday, the high will be near 80 with partly sunny skies, the weather service said.
