Mild weather in forecast for St. Pat’s Day

St. Patrick’s Day weather will be mostly sunny, with a high near 71, according to the National Weather Service.

The temperature was 60 degrees at 9 a.m., and will peak around 4 p.m. today, the weather service said.

There is a cold front moving in to the region today, the weather service said, with cold winds from the north. The windy weather will increase fire concerns this afternoon, according to the weather service. A west northwest wind today will be 8 to 13 mph, changing to north in the afternoon, and gusting as high as 20 mph.

Tonight, it will be mostly clear with a low of 37, the weather service said. There will be a north northwest wind of 5 to 7 mph.

Saturday, it will be sunny with a high near 63, according to the weather service. A north wind of 6 mph will become calm in the afternoon.

Saturday night, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 46 and a southeast wind of 3 to 7 mph, the weather service said.

Sunday, it will be mostly sunny with a high of 80, and a south wind of 8 to 16 mph, gusting as high as 26 mph, according to the weather service.

Sunday night, it will be partly cloudy with a low of 57, the weather service said.

Monday, expect mostly sunny skies with a high of 68, according to the weather service.
