Slight chance of storms today

A slight chance of isolated thunderstorms is possible this morning before a lull in activity over the region, according to the National Weather Service.

This afternoon, the chance of isolated to scattered storms will continue, and a few strong storms may result in brief gusts of up to 60 mph, the weather service said.

Thunderstorm chances will decrease after sunset, with dry conditions expected through Wednesday.

Today, there will be a 20 percent chance of precipitation and storms before 11 a.m., then a slight chance of showers after 4 p.m., the weather service said. There will be a high near 80, with a west northwest wind of 5 to 7 mph.

Tonight, there is a 20 percent chance of showers and storms before 10 p.m., with a low of 63, according to the weather service. There will be a north northeast wind of 6 mph.

Wednesday, the high will be near 82 with an east northeast wind of 6 mph, the weather service said.

Wednesday night, the low will be around 65 with an east wind of 3 to 5 mph, according to the weather service.

Thursday, the high will be near 85 with mostly sunny skies and an east wind of 3 to 6 mph, the weather service said.

Thursday night, the low will be around 65, according to the weather service.

Friday, it will be mostly sunny with a high near 88, the weather service said.

Friday night, there is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1 a.m., with a low of 69, according to the weather service.

Saturday, the high will be near 89 with a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m., the weather service said.

Saturday night, there is a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms with a low of 64, according to the weather service.
