Temperatures to reach low 60s today

It’s not spring, but it could seem like it is today as temperatures will reach a high in the low 60s.

According to the National Weather Service, the dry and unseasonably warm weather will continue through Friday.

Rain and a few thunderstorms could spread into the area on Saturday and Saturday night, the weather service said.

Rainfall amounts could exceed one inch in some areas, the weather service said. The chance for wintry precipitation over the weekend is low.

Today’s high will be near 63, with a west wind from 7 to 9 mph becoming south in the afternoon, according to the weather service.

Tonight, the low will be around 48, with a south wind of 7 to 14 mph, gusting as high as 18 mph, according to the weather service.

Thursday, expect mostly sunny skies with a high of 64, the weather service said. A south southwest wind of 6 to 13 mph will become west in the afternoon.

On Thursday night, there will be partly cloudy skies with a low of 43, according to the weather service. Light and variable winds will become south southeast around 6 mph after midnight.

Friday, the high may reach 64 with partly sunny skies, the weather service said. A south wind of 7 to 15 mph will gust as high as 22 mph.

Friday night, it will be mostly cloudy with a low of 45, according to the weather service.

Saturday, there is a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with cloudy skies and a high near 58, the weather service said.

On Saturday night, there is a 70 percent chance of precipitation, with a low around 41, according to the weather service.

Sunday, the high will be near 46 with a 60 percent chance of rain, according to the weather service.

Sunday night, there is a 30 percent chance of rain and snow, with a low of 32, the weather service said.
