Time of lane closures changed for U.S. 69 Missouri River Bridge project

The time of a lane closure on the new U.S. 69 Missouri River Bridge has changed, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation.

Crews will close one northbound lane on the new U.S. 69 Missouri River Bridge from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, beginning Feb. 23, according to MoDOT.

The closure will continue through Thursday, March 2, for bridge construction work, and will not include the weekends.

Originally, work was scheduled from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, according to MoDOT. All work depends on the weather.

The bridge connects Wyandotte and Platte counties.

MoDOT asked motorists to slow down and pay attention in work zones. For construction updates, visit MoDOT_KC on Twitter, or www.modot.mo.gov/kansascity.
