Wyandotte County’s forecast shows mostly sunny weather this weekend.
There is a small chance for rain in the forecast for Saturday and Sunday; however, this storm might or might not hit Wyandotte County.
Today’s high will be 73 with sunny skies, and tonight the low will be 49, the weather service said.
Friday, expect mostly sunny skies with a high near 75, and Friday night, the low will be around 54, according to the weather service.
Partly sunny skies are in store Saturday, with a high near 77, the weather service said. Saturday night’s low will be around 61.
Sunday will see mostly sunny skies and a high of 80, according to the weather service.
Sunday night, there will be a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a low of 62, the weather service said.
Monday, there will be a 50 percent chance of showers and storms with a high near 78.
The chance of showers and storms continues through Wednesday, according to the weather service.
The weather service said it is too early to determine the severe weather threat, but some of the storms could be strong.
A Classic Car Cruise is planned from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 30 at 500 Kindleberger Road, Kansas City, Kan.
The event will be sponsored by the UAW Local 31.
The Greater Kansas City Two Cylinder Club plans a Tractor Cruise to benefit the Ag Hall, Bonner Springs.
Tractors will drive around Wyandotte County, stopping at places such as Wyandotte County Lake and Grinter House, as part of the tractor cruise.
