Former Vice President Joe Biden won the Kansas Democratic presidential primary with 76.9 percent of the vote, according to an announcement Sunday morning from the Kansas Democratic Party. About 34 percent of those eligible voted in the mail-in ballot among registered Democrats in Kansas, according to the announcement. Sen. A bicyclist was injured in an accident with a vehicle at 7:56 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, in the 1000 block of Parallel Parkway, according to a spokesman for the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department. According to the initial investigation, the driver of a dark-colored vehicle was traveling on Parallel Parkway when a male bicyclist struck the vehicle. The latest scam involves telephone callers claiming to be from a utility company and then using various techniques to defraud customers, according to a BPU spokesman.
