A number of vendors are at this year’s Wyandotte County Fair, at 137th and Polfer Road. The fair will run from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, and from noon to 11 p.m. on Saturday. The workshop will consist of three sessions in one of the households, during which families, including children, will work collaboratively with internationally renowned artist and Kansas City Art Institute professor Hugh Merrill. Wyandotte County reported a total cumulative 1,375 positive COVID-19 cases at 5 p.m. Tuesday, with 74 deaths and 21 patients hospitalized. Positive COVID-19 cases in Wyandotte County increased another 16, according to the 9:55 a.m. Thursday report, to 377 cases. There were 31 total deaths since the COVID-19 pandemic started.
