The annual KC Irish Fest kicks off tonight at Crown Center, 2450 Grand Blvd. in Kansas City, Missouri. The event features seven stages with more than 30 bands, with activities promoting cultural heritage. It runs from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday. Animal adoptions to be by appointment only Kansas City, Kansas, Animal Services has made changes to adoption process, operating hours and calls for service, in response to COVID-19, according to an announcement. To comply with directives from the Unified Government to increase social distancing, staffing on-site is being reduced, according to the announcement. Police released this map of an area where two aggressive dogs are thought to be loose. They represent a danger. Police are warning the public about a pack of dogs that has bitten three persons April 26-27 near 12th and Richmond, 14th and Richmond, and 13th and Oakland. Animal control officers have captured one of the three dogs but are still looking for two dogs, a brindle male boxer with a muscular build and cropped ears, and a fawn female boxer, police said. Animal control officers on May 1 captured a second aggressive dog that is suspected of dog bites in the northeast area of Kansas City, Kan. Police officers in the area of 15th and Troup spotted a male brindle boxer shortly after midnight May 1 and were able to capture it, a police spokesman said. Animal control officers responded to the area and captured the canine without incident, the spokesman said. Three dogs, part of a pack of dogs, were responsible for three dog bites on April 26 and April 27, police said. The first dog was captured earlier this week.…
