Now lawmakers are contemplating a task force to study what that’s meant for the state’s roads and bridges. Following the borrowing, road projects saw delays across the state. Sporting Kansas City goalkeeper Tim Melia and defender Ike Opara were named to the 2017 MLS Best XI for their outstanding performances during the regular season, Major League Soccer announced. Melia and Opara earned Best XI honors for the first time in their careers after being voted the best players at their positions earlier this month. Opara was tabbed the MLS Defender of the Year on Nov. 9, while Melia landed Allstate Goalkeeper of the Year accolades on Nov. 16. The Piper Craft Show will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at Piper High School, 4400 N. 107th St., Kansas City, Kansas.
