A 2-year-old boy is safe after being in a car stolen today in Kansas City, Kansas, according to a spokesman for the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department. A woman fled in a vehicle with the 2-year-old male inside in the area of 26th and Wood Avenue, according to police. Stan Frownfelter, by five votes in the Democratic primary, after totals reported on Friday. On election night, he was ahead by one vote. Kansas City, Kansas, police are investigating a homicide at 1:37 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, in the 1900 block of South 32nd Street, according to a police spokesman. Officers responded to a dispatched homicide call at the location and found a male victim, 18 years old, with multiple gunshot wounds, the spokesman stated. The victim was deceased upon arrival, police said. There were no suspects in custody as of this morning.
