Edwardsville, Kansas, police officers reported that a body was recovered from the Kansas River about 2 p.m. May 24 at Riverfront Park.
Edwardsville EMS declared the person recovered from the river was deceased, according to a news release.
According to the news release, the person’s identity is being withheld while officers work to determine the circumstances of the incident and contact the next of kin.
