Kansas City, Kan., police are reviewing a chase incident that ended in the 1300 block of Minnesota Avenue on Tuesday evening, March 11, a police spokesman said today.
According to media reports, the high-speed chase started with a traffic stop shortly before 5 p.m. Tuesday in Kansas City, Kan., where the driver refused to stop.
A chase ensued to Missouri, then the driver came back into Kansas, where the vehicle was stopped by stop sticks, it was reported. One suspect was apprehended in a parking lot, while another was reportedly apprehended near 13th and Minnesota.
The Wyandotte County Third Saturday Democratic Breakfast will meet March 15 at the Hilton Garden Inn, 520 Minnesota, Kansas City, Kan.
It will be the 10th anniversary of the breakfast.
Guest speakers will be Jean Schodorf, secretary of state candidate; and Sen. Pat Pettey, D-6th Dist., with a legislative report.
The breakfast buffet opens at 8:15 a.m. and the program begins at 9:15 a.m.
The cost is $10, or $7 for students and those on limited incomes.

An injury-accident was reported about 10:50 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, at K-32 at 51st in Kansas City, Kan.
A 1975 Chevy Camaro driven by a 34-year-old Olathe woman was eastbound on K-32 when the driver lost control, went across the median and struck a semi in the westbound lanes, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol report.
The driver of the Camaro was injured and taken to a hospital, the trooper’s report stated.
A passenger in the car, a 34-year-old Overland Park, Kan., man, also was taken to the hospital.
The driver of the semi, a 36-year-old Kansas City, Mo., man, was not injured.
