A man who died April 20 in the 700 block of North 70th Terrace has been identified, a Kansas City, Kan., police spokesman said.
The man who died was identified as Willie L. Henderson, 36, a resident of Kansas City, Kan. Police were called to the address about 12:40 p.m. April 20.
The case is under review by the Wyandotte County District Attorney’s office, the police spokesman said. The cause of death has not been confirmed, police said.
Two suspects are in custody in a homicide case on April 21 in the 900 block of Minnesota Avenue, according to a Kansas City, Kan., Police Department spokesman.
The case will be reviewed by the Wyandotte County District Attorney’s office, the spokesman said.
The shooting death occurred about 5:20 p.m. April 21 near 9th and Minnesota Avenue, police said.
The victim, a male, was found inside a vehicle, deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.

Earth Day event planned at Quindaro Ruins
The Quindaro Ruins – Underground Railroad will sponsor an Earth Day event from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, at North 27th Street and the Missouri River Bend, near the John Brown Memorial Plaza.
The event’s purpose is to commemorate the annual Earth Day, to discuss the new EPA air rules, historic Quindaro heritage and current environmental issues.
The event is free and open to the public.

Library plans Earth Day event
The Main Kansas City, Kan., Public Library, 625 Minnesota, is planning an Earth Day stories and crafts event from 2 p.m. to 2:55 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, in the story time – craft room. Children, teens and tweens may hear a story and make an Earth Day craft.
