An accident at 6:10 a.m. March 9 on I-70 east of 110th Street in Edwardsville, Kan., sent the driver to a hospital.
The 28-year-old Leavenworth, Kan., driver of a 2009 Mazda was eastbound on I-70 when she overcorrected because of surrounding traffic and lost control, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.
She spun to the left and hit the barrier wall, according to the report.
The driver was taken to a hospital with a possible injury.

While starting off at 47 degrees at 8 a.m., temperatures are expected to rise to the lower 70s this afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
The mostly sunny day will be followed by a mostly clear night with a low in the mid 40s.

After a Tuesday with a high in the upper 60s and a 20 percent chance of rain in the afternoon, colder weather will move in. Rain is likely in the evening, followed by a chance of snow mixed with rain after midnight. The low will be around 30. There is a 60 percent chance of precipitation.
Wednesday will be a mostly sunny day with highs in the mid-40s. Winds will be 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. Wednesday night, the low will be in the upper 20s.
On Thursday, the high will be around 60. Thursday night, the low will be in the upper 30s.
