Severe weather is not expected with this activity, but periods of moderate to heavy rain could cause some minor flooding, the weather service said.
Today, there is a 70 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a high near 78 and an east northeast wind of 5 to 7 mph becoming south southwest in the afternoon, the weather service said. Between a quarter and a half-inch is possible.
Tonight, there is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8 p.m., with a low of 63, according to the weather service. A northwest wind will be 3 to 6 mph.
